OUR PREVIOUS EVENTS

Last Sunday, MASCA SA in collaboration with KUA Adelaide and other Malaysian Students’ Organization, has successfully organized the Meet & Greet and Welcoming BBQ event to welcome the new students in South Australia. In continuation to last year’s initiatives, the Meet & Greet and Welcoming BBQ was combined in a single day instead of two separate days. The event started with the Meet & Greet session which serves as an introduction to the life in South Australia. The session was graced by the attendance of Mr. Mohamad Azziyadi, the attaché of Education Malaysia Australia (EMA). The event then moved to River Torrens for the BBQ party where the current and new students in SA could mingle around and get to know each other. Besides being the main platform to unite the seniors and the freshmen, the Welcoming BBQ event also provides a platform for the MSOs to recruit new members to join their respective club. The students could register themselves at the various booth set up by the MSOs in accordance to the club that they are interested in. To hype up the party, the audience was entertained by an acoustic live performance from our students. The event wrapped up with a lucky draw session where the students were given the chance to receive a range of valuable prizes. The event was indeed a success as it assisted the freshmen in socialising with their seniors and other freshmen, which served the objective of the meet & greet!
