Merdeka Night Gala Dinner 2016 is an event to celebrate our nation’s 59th Independence Day in Adelaide, South Australia. This event is a collective effort of 4 different Malaysian Student Organisation (MSO) which are Kelab UMNO Australia (KUA) Adelaide, Malaysian Student Council of Australia (MASCA) SA, Adelaide University Malaysian Student Association (AUMSA) and University of South Australia International Student Business Society (ISBS) Malaysia Chapter.

This event will be held on the 3rd September 2016 in conjunction with Malaysia’s annual celebration for its Independence Day which is held every year since 31st August 1957. The target audience consists of the Malaysian community as well as the non-Malaysian community in Adelaide, South Australia regardless of races, religions and backgrounds.
The main objective of the event is to gather around to celebrate our beautiful nation 59th Independence Day. It is a chance for us to create a platform to bond connection among all the guests with unique experience during the Gala Dinner. Activities such as live performances, traditional games, talent shows and lucky draws will allow the guests to have a better experience with this event while celebrating our 'Merdeka'.

Individual Entrance Fee: $30
Group of 10 Entrance Fee: $25

This event is open for all (Malaysian & Non-Malaysian). Traditional cuisines of Malay, Chinese & Indian will be served. Vegetarian options are also available. Experience live & traditional performances troughout the event. Indulge yourself into the magical atmosphere of a gala dinner. Lucky draws, 'Merdeka' quizzes & Best dress awards are also the highlights of the event.
